Unsolved Mysteries in Binge Eating Disorder

I stumbled upon this article today from the American Psychiatric Association.

I think it will be good if the disorder gets added to the official psychiatric diagnosis manual-- it would probably increase recognition among doctors and result in more people getting help. I imagine it might also get more attention and research directed at the disorder; as the article title says, there is still a lot we don't know about the causes and results of this behavior.
Thoughts?
