Pre-made salad from Trader joe's or something similar. I usually keep a protein bar on me just in case!

    LOL!

Do you mean from a restaurant or a grocery store?

My go tos are Chipotle or Wendys. Chicken bowl with veggies/lettuce. Light on brown rice, black beans sour cream and cheese. add salsa. At Wendys I get a grilled chicken sandwich, mixed fruit.

There's no way you could have phrased it that is safe from me. ;)

More like fast food places or maybe even something frozen from a grocery store. I work downtown so we don't have a lot of options. I was running late and didn't have time to bring anything. We have Arby's, Subway, Chipotle, Bruegger's Bagels, Jimmy Johns, Erberts and Gerberts, and a few others that I really wouldn't want. We do have a tiny grocery store across the street that might have something in the frozen goods. Usually I get Subway but I'm kind of in the mood for something different but still between 400-700 cals.

Veggie bowl with brown rice, black beans, guacamole, salsa verde, lettuce, and cheese is 540. Carnitas [same everything else] is 710.

That does sound good. Thanks! I think that's probably where I'll end up today.

There's a little place near me that sells these "protein snack" thingies that are pretty good. Or Extreme Pita is always a good idea.

Not an issue because I always bring my breakfast and lunch and a protein bar with me to work... and I bring dinner and a snack with me to work for my second job... By always having it with me, I don't get hungry to a point that I need to buy something (be it from a store or vending machine). Planning is a big part of weight management lifestyle

Subway or Jimmy Johns is what I would choose.

How often does that happen? Why not have it ready to go the night before? I do cook my breakfast every morning... but my lunch is ready to go.. I make it a habit to wake up early enough to get it done... which is not easy for me as I can only get 5-5.5hrs of sleep a night with my two jobs... so my supplements/protein and lunch have to be done before I go to bed or else I may have an excuse to eat something not on my menu (or spend all the extra money). And I don't like excuses!!

I get a salad with chicken at a local shop near work.

@ Ket. tell that person to pick another letter (unless you are at the end of the game). I can only get 4 words.

No excuses. I'm not perfect and I'll be the first to admit it. I had stuff at home to bring just not put together to actually get it here. I didn't want to miss my bus and have to drive so I decided I would grab something here.

Ended up with Chipotle. I added chicken to my bowl and ate 1/2 of it. The other half I'll eat another time - either tonight for dinner or tomorrow for lunch.
