Calories burned running sprints

Anyone have a formula or any idea how many calories a 205 pound individual would burn doing ten 40 yards sprints with walking back between each one? It took about 10 minutes and I just used running at 10.9 MPH for 10 minutes. I don't have a FitBit or HRM and tried finding in online, but couldn't find it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hey, I'm also 205. 42 years old. I do 12 mph sprints on a treadmill, 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off - for ten minutes. My HRM shows me that I burn roughly 250 cals during that time. For what it's worth.0

It is hard to estimate the anaerobic component though. That probably heavily varies depending on how hard you are actually working, how much power you are producing on the run.
I use the vigorous calisthenics entry for sprints, however I don't do them wind sprints/intervals style. I do them as if they are a set of heavy squats; all out for the 125M up the hill with time to fully recover my C-P system (~4-5 minutes) before the next sprint.0 -
the majority of calories are going to be burned after the sprint session. the last time i did a 12 minutes sprint session, my HRM only showed having burned around 200 calories during the actual session but like 400 more within the next 30 minutes even though my workout was done.
i know hrm isnt 100% accurate but it's a good guide0 -
Thanks guys and girl!
I think I will adjust mine down to at least 200 calories burned instead of the 280 it shows. I'd rather be under estimating than over.
Oh, I don't know if it would matter or not, but I did it at the end of my body weight/calisthenics workout.0 -
I'm not sure if any if you will check this thread anytime soon. But I came across an article from men's fitness that stated a person can burn 500 calories from doing 10 100 meter sprints. The article is worth checking out. I hope this was helpful.
