The line..How do I get the line down the middle of my back?

My moms overweight and still has a line down her back and my sister's also ( 4 older sister's and they all have " the line " and I don't. Is it genetics? . how come i've never had one? even at my lowest weight ( really underweight ) i didnt have one ):

i want to be pretty to..i think it looks really pretty to have a line down your back and your collarbones stick out but mine barely do

does it mean im to fat or something? my body should be a lower weight?
Is there anything I can do to get ' the line ? '

I think that's probably posture more than anything. If you slouch or hold your shoulders forward all the time (perils of having a desk job and/or sedentary lifestyle), your back muscles will be stretched and your spine will stick out more between them.

well for that picture.. its just good lighting.

but if you want that "line down the center of the back you have to build a more dense back with adding muscle and lower your body fat %. build a dense back from rows, pullups, and deadlifts (mainly deadlifts) and lower body fat primarily thru diet.
