Training For a 175 Mile Ride (Bicycle)

This summer, I acquired an adorable Red Trek Hybrid bike. I love her. My fellow biking friend talked me into the 'bike MS' ride called Pedal to the Point that is a 150 (175 if you do the extra 25 miles the first day) mile ride, a fundraiser for MS.

I would really enjoy to add a couple friends to my list that are also bikers, as I would like some additional support in an area that is so foreign to me. Any training tips, favorite riding gear and all that would also be awesome to learn.

    Wear a helmet, don't stop pedaling or you won't finish, watch out for squirrels, get a comfortable seat.:tongue: Enjoy and good luck is all the real advice I can give.
