I bet some of you will know the answer to this.
I want to record a strength training set reps/sets weight/set. I don't know how to enter it into the data base to find it.
I am new on here and am new to strength training.
I will be lifting a set of 3 lb weights to start off with in various positions. I'm also confusted on what sets are and what reps are. Can anyone help me with this? Amy

For strength it goes something like this -

I want to do an exercise like a barbell squat.

So I get under the bar and squat down until my thighs are parallel to the floor and then return to erect. That was one rep (repetition).
If I do that 8 times in succession with no break, that was one set.

For tracking your strength training exercises, I recommend jefit. It also has a great app for your smartphone.

Your reference to 3lb weights indicates that you aren't likely training in a lifting gym. You may find this link to a bodyweight workout helpful.
