Well, I've just done my first day on this program. I could only do 6 reps instead of the recommended 8 but it just means I've got to stay on week 1 until I get there.
I've tried this once before with hubby which was easier, because he is slower than me and I wasn't tempted to go too fast. I think that was my problem today. Anyway, he self-diagnosed shin splints and quit altogether; I can't even get him to come for a walk with me and the dog. Sad, but he is an adult and makes his own choices.

That's great that you are doing this, and you will be able to do it!
I started here 5 weeks ago, and at first, could run 5 min, walk 1 min, run 5, walk 1 etc for 5 km. I can now run for over 35 minutes without any walking breaks! It is really amazing to see my improvement, and in such a short time!
