HRM for Nike+ SportWatch??

I have the Nike+ SportWatch and am wanting a heart rate monitor for it- is the 'Polar WearLink+ transmitter Nike+' the only HRM that's compatible with the watch, or is there a cheaper alternative??

    There isn't an alternative that I am aware. I bought my Nike+ sportswatch just over a week ago and also got the HR monitor to go with it. I already had a Polar HR monitor but of course it was older and not the Nike+ version. I got my Nike+ at BestBuy but had to actually go to the Running Shoe store to get the Polar Nike+ HR monitor because BestBuy, Sports Authority, etc. did not sell the HR monitor that I needed.
