Calorie counters like MediaFit and Bodybugg?

Hey everyone!


So I am thinking about purchasing a calorie counter/heart rate monitor. Ive heard of only two (although I know there are more of course), Body Bugg and Media Fit.

Read some reviews on Amazon and people say sometimes they work great and sometimes they are crap.

What do you guys think and should I consider purchasing one? Any other companies that make something like this that are awesome you could suggest?

I have both. Polar HRM and a Bodymedia Fit arm band. I own the Polar HRM and the Bodymedia band I borrowed from a friend. I wanted to originally test the 2 when it came to exercising and calories burned. Numbers wise they both were pretty close with the Polar HRM usually being the higher number of the 2.

You can also look into a Fitbit but I have no knowledge or personal experience about how that works.
