I am 165 with a goal of 130 (goal was given to me by my doctor)
Last year I was 175 and I lost 25 pounds on Dukan... and then flaked out on Dukan after about 4 or 5 months. It wasn't that it was hard or anything, I just quit. I'd been having problems with meds, causing some major depressive issues, and when I get really depressed I eat. No, that's a lie. I gorge on carbs. Whole containers of ice cream; whole loaves of bread - anything I can get my hands on until I finish what I've started.
But, I've got all my hormones and meds worked out, and I'm ready to do this thing again. Successfully. I want to do it until the end this time.
Anyone else out there done Dukan? Anyone out there done Dukan in combination with, say, a 1500 calorie/day limit? I'm not a big eater, if you do not count the whole gorging times, and I definitely need more fluid in my body, so limiting my calories doesn't leave me hungry, but it does seem to be helpful in losing closer to 2 pounds per week.
OK, here I go...
