Hey. I know you can't spot reduce but I'm wondering if there is any exercise that will tighten the hip area. See I like the shape I am but I just want my hip area to be more tight/defined. Is there any exercise for this?

I think it is just a case of lower body fat unfortunately0

If I'm understanding you right, my strength routine seems to be working for that. I'm losing pounds slower but I notice that my hip area seems to be better defined......amongst the fat lol! I am bottom heavy so I do a lot of moves for my legs and abs. (in addition to the rest of my body). Hope this helps. http://thickfine.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/tfh-combo-circuit-training-2/0

Hmm yes I understand the lowering bodyfat but i'm around 23% so not to high. I actually like the shape of my smaller waist and bigger hips, however I just want them to feel more tight/toned. If I go too low bodyfat I end up losing them all together and I like the curvy look.

Yeah, I "lost my curves" when I lost weight when I was younger because I didn't do enough toning from the beginning. By the time I started I was pretty much all thighs lol! I'm determined NOT to lose it this time around. So far so good0

Yes it's like why can't you have both?? haha since doing squats etc I havent lost my bum which is a good thing, I hate being just skinny and straight!0
