Hey. I know you can't spot reduce but I'm wondering if there is any exercise that will tighten the hip area. See I like the shape I am but I just want my hip area to be more tight/defined. Is there any exercise for this?
Thanks.

I think it is just a case of lower body fat unfortunately

If I'm understanding you right, my strength routine seems to be working for that. I'm losing pounds slower but I notice that my hip area seems to be better defined......amongst the fat lol! I am bottom heavy so I do a lot of moves for my legs and abs. (in addition to the rest of my body). Hope this helps. http://thickfine.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/tfh-combo-circuit-training-2/
  • Hmm yes I understand the lowering bodyfat but i'm around 23% so not to high. I actually like the shape of my smaller waist and bigger hips, however I just want them to feel more tight/toned. If I go too low bodyfat I end up losing them all together and I like the curvy look.

Ohh I'll check that out now, thanks :)

Yeah, I "lost my curves" when I lost weight when I was younger because I didn't do enough toning from the beginning. By the time I started I was pretty much all thighs lol! I'm determined NOT to lose it this time around. So far so good :)
  • Yes it's like why can't you have both?? haha since doing squats etc I havent lost my bum which is a good thing, I hate being just skinny and straight!
