Clueless with BMR, TDEE, etc, etc

Alright, I feel very silly for asking this question. I've been looking through the forums, but this BMR, TDEE is not becoming clear to me. So I want to lose about 1 - 11/2 lbs a week. I started my weight loss in Jan 2011 at 125. I am now 115, a year and half later. I've been maintaining for quite awhile now, I feel like I've hit a plateau and not sure what I should be eating, or how many calories I should be burning daily. & this NET thing, I'm totally not getting as well. Honestly, the 10lbs I've lost, I couldn't even tell you how I did it. I mostly thank running, but I've never been a strict dieter. However, I really want to lose at least five more pounds, but 10 would be awesome. I'm 5'0, 115 and 23 years old. How many calories should I be eating, burning, any other information I should know? So LOST lol! Thanks in advance! :)

Ill make it simple. To lose 1lb of fat you need to burn 3500 calories. If over the course of a week you cut your intake by 500 calories a day UNDER your net intake then you should see about a pound a week loss. A 1000 calories defecit daily will result in 2lbs lost per week.

BMR is a tricky thing but not completely incomprehensible. Find a goo d calculator online and calculate yours. This represents the number of calories you burn ever day, with normal metabolism, to just sit on the couch and live. Multiplications of this nember will represent your need based on exercise levels.

Use all of these things as a guide though. This is not a precise science and what works for one wont work for another. Play around, learn about yourself, and find your own rhythm.
