So I have had my Polar FT4 (the pink one) since X-Mas...and I think it is suppossed to be waterproof...but I wanna know if anyone has had any actual expereince with this, good or bad!? I would like to use it while on vaca....seeing as I am gonna have a lot of big water related burns, such as: kayaking, whitewater rafting, and waterparks!! Full submersion WILL happen, and I do NOT wanna break my watch, cheststrap, or sensor, but I DO wanna count my cals for these things!

Please feel free to share your experiences and suggestions!! THANKS!

ok...did a lil research...this is what it said for a watch with a 30m resistency (which is what mine has) "This level will easily withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, or getting caught in the rain. However, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming or bathing."...so prob no for water park...but yes for kayaking...and maybe yes for WW rafting??

    still like some thoughts?? :)

i have the ft7 and like the ft4 it is water resistant to 30m like you said, but don't push the buttons underwater.

I have the pink ft4! I used it every day in the pool last year! It worked great! Just don't push buttons on watch under water! Have fun with it!!

thanks you guys :) I think I will use it kayaking, and WW rafting, and on the water slides...just not if I am gonna be rough-housing in the pool (just in case the bottons would get pressed...LOL!)

    I appreciate the tips :)
