am I missing something? How should I be using my heart rate monitor?

Depends on what type. I use an inexpensive wrist watch HRM. Every minute or two I have to push a button for it to read my HR and then it calculates my calories off of that and my stats I have entered. What type do you own?0

Sorry, didn't explain myself. I know my max heart rate should be 220- my age. But what percentage of that should I be going for. I've read different figures in different places. Did Tony say 80% on the Dug Deeper disc. Is that for the whole workout ( minus breaks).0
