Flavoured Water
First of all I'm Canadian (just explaining the added "u" in flavoured)
So my hubby sent me to the spa yesterday as a birthday gift and they offered me some water so of course I jumped excitedly (ok not really) at the chance to partake in some delicious refreshing (**$*!*@%*#^) water only to be surprised at what I was given.
They had made a batch of cucumber lemon water that morning and WOW! it was yummy and more importantly different from the plain old water I've been struggling to get into me every day. All they did was slice up some cucumber and lemon and dumped the pieces into the pitcher of water. Holy refreshing!!!
Anyone else flavour their water that way? What other ingredients do you add???

I enjoy flavored water as well. It is a nice change from drinking water all day long. You can add just about anything you'd like in your water! You could really get creative! Here is a link with some ideas: http://nancycreative.com/2010/06/25/feast-your-eyes-on-flavored-water/0

I've used watermelons and oranges. So good.0

I've only ever added lemon to my water, but all these other ones sound so interesting! I'll have to try a few.0

I'm lazy I use crystal Lite but dilute to the point where it's about 1 cal a glass.0

haven't tried it with cukes yet. gonna have to try that0

Instead of putting the fruit in the water by itself. You rather just go to the store and buy it already in the bottle. I love flavored water.0

The only I find with the store bought kind is that it's often laced with either sodium or artificial sugar. I'd rather get some calories from fresh fruit and avoid the sodium since I'm a salt-a-holic.0 -
I've been collecting a list... mostly for people who were having trouble drinking enough water. It's posted in my blog at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Robin_Bin/view/water-265761
Hope it helps! (Please give it a positive vote, if it's useful to you and feel free to add any suggestions.)0 -
Frozen strawberries or frozen grapes. The strawberries flavor and cool...the grapes don't so much flavor, but cool beautifully. Both are delish to munch on after drinking.0

I don't know if you have it in Canada but I love using MIO in my water. There are a ton of flavors and zero calories! Even better it comes in a little bottle you put in as much or as little as you would like. Best thing ever!0

Look up Sassy water on google - I think it is lemon, cucumber, ginger and mint - it perks up the water and is healthy too.0

I love just plain water, but adding fruit sounds yum!! I don't do anything like MIO, or Crystal Lite, because all those are full of artificial stuff.0
