BBQ Food - Which is the least unhealthiest?

Hello all~

Today there is a festival in NYC called the Big Apple Barbecue. I'm going with a bunch of friends and my boyfriend. I know that barbecue food is fattening and the sauces are loaded in sugar, but I'm planning on sharing so it shouldn't be so bad, plus I eat super healthy during the weekdays.

My question is..which dish is the least worse? Beef ribs, pork ribs, pulled pork, sausage? I've looked it up on MFP and it's all pretty bad lol! I'm thinking pulled pork, but it's the shoulder, which is very fattening too. I guess I'm answering my own question...I'll just have to enjoy the food in moderation :)

  • We went out for bbq two nights ago, I was fretting because it was day 6 and I hadn't lost my pound for the week, I had brisket, pulled pork, two ribs, and a couple sides....next day....lost a pound! Bbq rocks LOL
