Can this happen? I eat a lot of fruit and it appears my stomach is getting bloated. Clothes started to fit tighter suddenly. Am worried. Fruit is my savior before evening workout..,

Fruit is generally good to consume, but keep in mind that too much of anything is bad for you. Also, one of the basic rules of gaining weight is that you have to take in more calories than you consume each given day, so you may be eating more calories than you need to lose weight, coming from consuming fruit. Fruit of course will have calories in them, so you'll have to be diligent and track those calories to ensure you are in a caloric deficit each day, if your goal is to lose weight. If you prefer not tracking calories, then eat less fruit each day, and keep things consistent, so that every 1-2 weeks, you are able to evaluate your body and see if you are losing, maintaining, or gaining weight.

Some fruit gives me gas.....could that be the bloating? Maybe go back and see which fruits are the culprit by looking at what fruits you ate a few hours prior to the bloating? Maybe your body is having some trouble digesting the simple sugars?

    Also:

    Fruit is not calorie free.

It's healthier than cake, but it still can pack on the pounds if you eat too much.

It's a lot of sugar, too....even though it's natural too much of a good thing is not really good at all.

Do you log the fruit and stay within your calorie range?

Agreed.!! many fruits while low in calories are high in sugar which Is clearly worse
