I have been on MFP for a while now, and I know what works for me. I am almost at 50 lbs lost and I feel great. I have a freind who is contantly trying to give me (bad) weightloss advise. i really dont want to be rude but not everything Dr Oz endorses is all that great. I like to workout, and I try to eat healthy most of the time. I also find out shes picking on me when Im not around, so what I dont eat donuts at work anymore, and shes like "oh look at me trying to be all healthy" And oh yeah "theres no fat in these m & ms". In front of everyone at work she says shes going to buy me this vitamin or supplement that will help me lose belly fat (embarrasing). I am someone who will consider anyones advise and I look to learn new things on here all the time, but Im not sure how to tell her, enough! This is someone who was always a size 2 untill now with age creeping in on a 12. She doesnt know, since the pants I gave her for work have the tags torn out. Not trying to bash a freind but Im just feeling a bit insulted.

I'm surprised you still call this persona friend after the way she treats you. I'd be insulted too!
I don't think she doesn't get it, I think she feels threatened by you and your incredible progress. It probably makes her feel bad about herself. Honestly, I think you need to have a private talk with her and tell her that it bothers/hurts you when she makes comments like that constantly. I;m not good at being diplomatic, so hopefully someone else can suggest how to approach her.
    Good luck!

    PS: congrats on your loss!

LOL I got a friend like that too, actually more of a former co-worker. They're like back-seat drivers.
