Feeling Sorry for myself :O(

Hi
I'm sorry to do this but you lot understand where I'm coming from.
I started using MFP January last year - 2011 @ 172 lbs.
I did really well and was down to 148 by May 2011.
Since then I've increased slowly and hovered around 150 for a while. This was fine. I looked good in the mirror and got a lot of positive comments but I've slowly got back up to 157 as of today.
It's half term from school - I teach - and my brother got married, I haven't been sleeping and was eating during the night but I have no excuse.
I've just eaten the wrong things and not moved my rear enough.
My gym membership has expired and I can't justify paying to renew it so am cycling when I can.
I know what to do because I did it before but am just looking for others, I suppose, who've been here and done this and lost it again.
I'm much fitter and healthier from when I was at my heaviest of 214 (15 st 6) a few years ago and know I've done well but just feel I've let myself down.
Thanks for being there and sorry to have written so much none-sense.
Amanda

Amanda ~ Please try not to beat yourself up! You've done really well... and yes, you had a bit of a setback or a "stumble," if you will. This is NOT a true fall, though! As a matter of fact, it's you catching yourself before it becomes a fall! You identified you've had some struggles, now it's time to kick them in the butt again! Like you said, you've done this before - and know how to reach your goals. You know you have the will and the strength to do it again.
Changing our lifelong habits is a huge challenge - but we can do it. Keep getting up, keep looking forward! The strongest force in the world is the force of habit - so it's never an easy road to change those things! But it can be done with support (like MFP friends) and determination. Try not to let this get you too down... you're still starting off better than where you initially started - and you know you have the ability to continue!
We believe in you, and I hope you can find it in you to believe in yourself again. For me, I often have to redefine my goals - look at WHY I really want to be healthier. When I really look at my motivating factors - I tend to find the ability to tap into that thing which pushes me forward (if that makes sense).
I'm cheering you on, 110%. I believe you can get back on this bike and ride like you've never ridden before! ) Go after it, girl! You can do this. You ARE doing it. You are an amazing woman... and an inspiration to us, and I'm sure to your students, too!0 -
I'm just about not crying from that post, ChinaRoss.
I know you are right.
Helped me to just write it so I hope no one minds that I did.
You are a wonderful support as are many others on here.
Thank you.
