Suggestions on Strength Training

Hey,
I wonder if anyone could suggest a program I could follow to do some strength training. I am still overweight but feel ready to include weights into my workouts. I do Body Pump once a week when I can make the class but i'd like to do more when i'm at the gym (and its more convenient for myself).
All suggestions are very much welcome.

Pretty much any reasonable barbell training program is going to give you great results.0 -
Stronglifts 5x5 or Starting Strength or New Rules of Lifting for Women.
