i'm new to this site but I have already had a little success with losing weigh so i'm very excited. I want to be more active and not just let the food be my only way to lose weight.

my question is this.... does the calorie intake it allows you change at any point? does it change when you reach certain goals or become more active?

Hope someone can help. Thanks!

If you complete exercise and log this in your diary... say you burn 100 calories from this for instance, it will add these this onto your daily calorie intake so you will have an extra 100 calories to have. Hope this makes sense! x

I noticed that after I logged a loss of ten pounds, my calorie count was adjusted slightly---not by much but a little.

It's based on what you set your activity level as, so if you get more active then you can go in and change it, that would give you more calories a day. Logging exercise will give you more calories for the day, most say to eat back your exercise calories, I usually eat half of them but that's all dependent on what works for you. Losing weight, lowers your calories slightly because your body is burning less calories just to be you. I didn't like the lowering the calories as I lost weight, so I found a level I'm comfortable with and went into setting changed it to what I want, then it just changes the amount I lose per week but I don't mind losing weight slower(which I actually haven't, it's been steady). It's all just one big experiment, trying to figure out what works for you. Good Luck!!
