Ugh, I've been on vacation for the last 10 days, and really had no self control the entire time...not that I even tried! And because of that, I gained almost 9 LBS!

But for some reason, I'm not really worried or upset about it. I had fun, enjoyed it while I could, and I'm not going to beat myself up over it! I already hit the gym and started logging again today. I've been stuck at a plateau for weeks now, so maybe giving my body a good long break and then getting back on track, it'll shake things up and get me off of that darn plateau. Think it'll work?

I think it WILL work! You've definitely shaken things up after your vacation, that's for sure!
Sounds like you had a wonderful time, which is what vacations are for anyway!
Now you're back, and it sounds like you're determined to get right back on track. Good for you! :flowerforyou:

I just went camping for a few nights and was sooo scared to check the scale. But when I did it was exactly the same. Could not believe it after 4 days of drinking, sitting around and eating that I didn't gain! So don't worry about it! Vacation is a time to relax.
  • I'm back on the wagon myself after 10 days vacation. I was good though but still am finding it really really really hard today. It's like I'm starving and I know I'm not...

    I feel your pain.

    Wish us luck.

I'm just the opposite, I couldn't wait to start again! After not exercising for ten days (well, I did once) I felt stiff and uncomfortable. And after eating everything in sight, I felt gross and bloated. So I know getting back on track will make me feel better mentally AND physically.

And good luck to both of us, we can do it! Our red shoes are depending on us! :flowerforyou:

We went to the lake for the weekend and I am scared to see the result on weigh in day. I have only lost 1 pound in two weeks, I will really feel bad to get that back in two days!

Wish me luck for Wed ( I am not allowing myself on the scale but once a week!)

Yes they are! (red shoes depending on us that is)

I, officially, worked out only twice during my vacation but was far more active overall. I sit at a desk all day at work. I think it all balanced itself out because I didn't gain at all.

    To the Red Shoes!! :drinker:
