For the next few days it's going to be over 97f outside....I want to move anyway, but don't want to agravate my asthma either (already had to rest for the last 10 days because of problems with asthma) ? Any tips (morning workouts are out since I'm in the office from 6am till 4pm right now).
I'm thinking I'll be over to my sister's for a good swim but I want to try and do as much as I can.

Swimming. Can you join a gym for the summer and get in the AC so the heat doesn't bother you? Don't know if things cool down in time for an evening walk.0

Move to England. It's cold, rainy, and miserable here. I'd swap in a microsecond!0

It routinely gets in the high 90s up to 110 degrees in the summer here, but it's usually dry. If it's humid where you are, that could be really uncomfortable.
Does it get cool at night where you are? If so, wait until dusk and go for a walk (wear reflective gear/tape if you can).
If not, well, when does the sun come up? Here, I could walk at 5am and be ok with light.
And swimming, like others suggest.
Something indoors? Walking dvd inside with A/C on, maybe?0 -
Barring the asthma holding you back, it takes about 2 weeks to acclimate to the heat. I am week 2 of 95+ heat here in Texas, and while it sucks big time and my mileages have decreased, it is getting more bearable. I do try to go after the hottest part of the day around 7PM.0

Exercise in a gym or do your workouts at night, if it cools down enough. Nighttime runs are the best!0

If your ceilings are high enough, jump rope0

Do DVD workouts? I get workout DVDs from the library just for days like these.0

I know every one is different, but my asthama does better when it is hot. Cold? Not so much. Anyway, original question: Last summer I swam as much as I could, ran & biked in the dark, and acclimated to the heat as much as possible. And drink lots of water.0

I'm not sure, from your post, whether it's the asthma or the heat that holds you back more?
If it's the asthma, you could just bring your inhaler with you during the workout. Or just go walk around a mall, put on a workout video, do some strength training at home, etc.
If it's mostly the heat, the walking later/earlier suggestions are good. I like to go to some local parks that I know have trails with a lot of shade. Shade makes a huge difference.
If the outdoors really become a problem, you could always just join a gym. The Y (and other gyms) has all the equipment you could ever want, courts, and an indoor pool. Then the weather can never hold you back.0 -
I feel you with the heat. The high today here is 99 and it's only going to get hotter (and it's not dry heat either)...it's not super pleasant when it's over 90 degrees from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed!
I'd suggest maybe finding a gym that doesn't require a contract and isn't expensive (I wanna say Planet Fitness or somewhere like that might be an option) just for these few hot months if you don't want a gym membership permanently. Swimming is a great form of exercise as well, then there are always workout DVDs (although I'll admit, I never do those DVDs, just not really my cup of tea).
I get a run in as early as possible on the weekends outside and just make sure I'm REALLY well hydrated. I run more slowly and in shorter distances than I do when the weather isn't so hot, but at least it's something. Otherwise I'm inside my air conditioned gym lol0 -
This is one of the reasons fitness videos work really well for me. I highly recommend Jillian Michael's videos!0

Thank you all for your suggestions. Since I have full access to a pool within 5minutes from home, I will just go and swim. It's also a good reason to make a quick visit with my family.0
