Couch Potato Workout!

I was watching Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition last night and getting inspired! Anyway, Chris Powell posted a tip that I thought would be pretty beneficial to me, and I wanted to share it with you all in hopes that someone else might also be able to utilize it.

The Couch Potato Workout is for when you're watching tv. Typically I DVR everything so I can fast forward through commercials. Well, I guess that's over because during commercial breaks, Chris suggests doing 15 squats, 15 sit ups (crunches, whatever), and 15 push ups. By the end of an hour-long show, you've probably done some decent work!

Now, let me also say that I wouldn't replace real workouts with this, but it would make a great 'addition' or a great starting place for those who are just getting started. I did mention this to a friend who is trying to lose weight. He's 465 pounds and he felt like this was extreme, but I think if anyone just does their very best, don't give up, then improvement will come and so will results!

Hopefully this will help out some others!

Kindest regards!
