Is it OK to do Couch to 5K two days in a row?

I just finished Couch to 5K Week one yesterday, and did another 30 minutes of walking and 7.5 minutes of running (by run, I really mean very slow jog) after in the following order: 90 seconds run, walk, 3 minutes run, walk, 3 minutes of run, cool down.<--- Personal best!

I feel ready to face the challenge of Week 2 and I'm ready to GOOOOOO. I literally woke up thinking about running. I know that rest is important, but I'm also excited about pushing myself further. WHAT SHOULD I DO? If I don't do the Couch to 5K, I will end up doing Pilates.

Do it 2 days in a row if you want.

If you're just starting out, I'd recommend taking the rests and doing something else (Pilates would be good!). Believe me, I know the feeling of GET UP AND GO and wanting to feel the next improvements to my body, but the rests are there so that you don't injure yourself. Those are my thoughts, anyway.

^^I have to agree with this. I had that get up and GO attitude too last week... I did w2d1 and felt great the next day, and decided to do w2d2. I figured since I used to run every day in high school for track and XC, two run days in a row shouldn't be a big deal for me now. WRONG! I strained my right hamstring and haven't been able to run since last wednesday and I AM SO BUMMED.

Take the rest days, trust me :)

I was wondering that too. I read it was best to do it everyother day to rest your body. But girl, I finish week 2 saturday. But I am a little nervous to go to week 3 (thinks its just my inner self not being its confident self :)) But I may do week 2 again. But I say listen to your body!! If your feeling it go for it.

Take the rest day. One common mistake beginning runners make is doing too much, too soon. The body needs time to repair the damage that is done during the workout. Rest is critical. Just follow the plan and you'll be all set. When you are finished, you can start adding in days and mileage slowly.
