Ankle Weights

I think I have 2 x 2.5kg ones at home somewhere. If I just strapped these on under my jeans and walked around all day do you reckon it would be worth it?

Anyone else use them? I imagine they would be great for leg raises and other abdominal exercises that use the legs, but I'm just talking about walking

    I've been told that using ankle weights is not really recommended as it affects your gait in a negative way. Not sure to the details of that, and would be curious to know if anyone has any evidence or further info on this.

    not recommended, would suggest you use those for leg raises etc. and NOT walk around with those strapped to your leg, can't remeber what they will affect, did read long time back, that they do, try and google it :-)
