Did you stay within your nutritional goals?
No

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal?
No

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of?
Didn't exercise and went out for dinner and didn't go way over my calorie limit. I went over but only by a couple of 100. (My limit is 1200).

What would I have done differently?
I should have found time to get a walk in

What is today's personal goals?
Stay within my calories, drink water and exercise.

Goldk-Thanks for keeping things going while I was slacking.

I have had a rough couple of days. Just feeling down, discouraged and lonely. DH works out of town Mon-Thurs, so I get to see him 3 days a week. This weekend was really busy and we saw each other only half of the time. I just get really tired of being by myself. I'm lonely and bored in the evenings when I get home. Plus, I am discouraged about this whole weight loss thing being so difficult for me. 5 lbs in 8 months is pretty ridiculous! I'm not giving up, just having a low point. But it's good to know that you are all here waiting on me when I get back on track. I am leaving Tues, Aug 18th for a family trip to Canada. I will be gone til Sat, Aug 29th. So I won't be here on this thread. We have a cabin that is very remote, no tv, cell phones, or internet. I know it sounds rough, but it is so beautiful and peaceful. I am making plans to stay on track with my food and hike a lot.

Not a problem... I am going to North Conway NH Thurs - Sun. I'm not sure if I am bringing my laptop or not so if you don't see me you know I'm on VACATION!!! Yippee. I will try to behave myself :) I am going with 2 children so I should stay active

Nlongenecker - Today is a new day :flowerforyou: I was having one of those days a couple of weeks ago and you guys were all here to support me. Your trip sounds fabulous. I am sure you will come back refreshed and ready to fight this battle some more

Did you stay within your nutritional goals?
    No :grumble: :grumble: :explode:

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal?
yes (exercised) and no (went over calories)

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of?
Made myself take a 45 minute round about walk to the store to get some exercise in

What would I have done differently?
way too much bad snacking yesterday ... needed more fruit or other healthy snack instead of chips and chex mix, should have had water at my desk all day too like I did last week

    What is today's personal goals?
Stay within my calories, drink water and exercise.

Nlongenecker:  Hang in there! My progress has been slow too, and I get discouraged - but I am making healthy changes and no matter what I'm better off than where I was!
Just a suggestion - but maybe joining a gym (I like the YMCA) or signing up for a dancing class or something active would help with keeping you busy so you are less lonely with hubby gone, and also help with your efforts here? I know part of why I like going to the Y is that it gives me an opportunity to socialize a bit as well as work out. :flowerforyou:

This is true. I thought I would never join (or enjoy) going back to the gym. I joined the Y back in May and I love going. I'm not extremely social when I am exercising but I do enjoy going  The shower and relaxing in the sauna at the end of the workout is nice too
