How does this work?

Hi,

I am migrating over from Weight Watchers where I had some pretty good success. This appears to be even better though. No more figuring points and the food database is crazy.

So I see under the food tab there is a remaining category with some numbers in green. Are those the recommended minimums that I am to consume each day?

    Hello, welcome to MFP :)

    Yes, the 'Remaining' category starts out with the set amount of calories etc that you should consume each day and it automatically adjusts as you add food or exercise for the day.
