I am trying to up my protein intake and need some ideas for breakfast that don't include eggs. I get terrible stomach cramps after eating them so I stay away. Fire away!

6oz 0% Greek yogurt with i serving Kashi Go lean cereal mixed in. Add fruit if you like. Should be 35-40g protein and around 300 cals if I remember correctly. Fruit adds 50-100 cals depending on what it is. It's my afternoon snack today but should work for breakfast.0

whole grain toast with peanut butter or cream cheese
Oatmeal with peanut butter or protein powder
Greek yogurt
Cottage cheese
Quinoa
don't limit yourself to just breakfast items, nothing wrong with chicken or fish or whatever you like
I make protein pancakes. Make a bunch at a time for a quick reheat, it's oatmeal(I grind it in food processor so it's like a flour), egg whites, cottage cheese, ground flax seed and a little canola oil(I'm thinking of trying coconut oil next time) then flavor it with a some kind of sweetener and spices like cinnamon. I love to spread peanut butter on it, so filling and full of protein.0 -

Is it the yolks that upset your stomach? If its just that try egg whites. Low in calories and high in protein.0

I just made these muffins for the first time last night. They are pretty good and great for taking to work with me.

I eat imitation crab meat. I put it in my grits along with green onions and tomatoes. It's fat free and yummy- if you like grits.0

I think it is both because I have tried getting egg white breakfast sandwiches before and still have stomach issues. I can eat them if they are used in baked goods, but not scrambled, hardboiled, deviled, etc.0 -
Protein shake with fresh fruit and oatmeal flakes in it0

Try cottage cheese. The fat free or light Kraft brand. I try and mix it with a sugar free apple sauce or fresh fruit and it's not nearly as bad.0

Dashingdish.com is a great recipe blog with some high protein muffins. The recipes I have tried so far have been great, like the Peanut butter & jelly protein bars.0

You all have some good suggestions for me to try. Thank you.0

I've just started doing protein shakes. I use a scoop of chocolate protein powder, 1 c. skim milk, and 1 tsp. instant coffee. I shake in a canister with a couple of ice cubes and drink up. It's so good!0

Leftover meat and veggies from last night's dinner! Or cook up a kind of stir fry with whatever meat and veggies you like.0

That's for the recommendation of Dashing Dish. Those recipes look awesome. I made one of the protein shakes last night and also a batch of protein pumpkin muffins. Can't wait to try out more of the recipes. And thanks to everyone else for their suggestions as well.0

It basically is something like this for 4 pancakes(sometimes I wing it and add more dry or wet ingredients as I see necessary)
2 cups oats
2 eggs or 6 egg whites
1 cup cottage cheese
2 T ground flaxseeds
1 T canola oil
Sweeteners get switched up, stevia if I'm watching calories more, or 4 tsp of sucanat or evaporated cane juice, then I sprinkle some cinnamon and/or pumpkin pie spice in it.
Use a good amount of pam or butter to cook in, or add more oil to the batter cuz they will want to stick a little.0
