Does anybody have some good ideas for brown bagging it to work? I dont want to get stuck in a micro-wave rut with all that high sodium. Just need some quick healthy clean ideas of what to pack.
Thanks

Homemade turkey sandwich. Using rye bread (160 cal for 2 slices), Sargento's new THIN sliced cheese, a little mayo, mustard, lettuce. Then either baby carrots or a small bag of goldfish. I usually eat half of all that at lunchtime, and then finish the rest near the end of the day.0

I thought I would get bored of this, but it's been months and I still have...
Sandwich.
Usually PBJ, sometimes mango butter and cream cheese.
With a side of cottage cheese or yogurt, and fresh or dried fruit.0 -
I pretty much always brown bag it. You can check out my diary for ideas.0

I brownbag every day.... (well, my orange bag, my lunch bag is orange )
I generally have leftovers from dinner the night before, a small salad, and a fruit. Keep it under 400 calories. Leftovers that are great for lunches include: lasagna rollups, chicken chili, soup, spaghetti, enchiladas, leftover meat & veggies. If we are completely out of leftovers, I'll have a mini ww pita w/ a few slices of lean ham and some cucumber slices, a cup of baby carrots, and a cup of fruit.0 -
I bring my lunch every day. Either leftovers from dinner the night before or a sandwich with fruit or veggies I can heat up. I usually make the veggies for dinner the night before and heat them up at lunch the next day. Also, a good snack is Mott's all natural apple sauce no sugar added. I try to pack a pickle or two and some yogurt for in the morning with fruit.0

When I was in high school I would always take:
Chicken or Ham, Lettuce and Mayo Sandwich on White Bread
Packet of Crisps
Cheesestring
Can of Diet Pop/Soda
Banana
Yogurt Drink
If I were you, replace the mayo for cottage cheese, the white bread for wholewheat, cheesestring for laughing cow and the fizzy drink for water.
Hell, you could always take some plastic tubs of salad. Add some chicken or turkey breast, low fat dressings or no dressing at all. Take some fruit and/or natural greek yogurt.0
