Food manufacturers make foods that people want to buy
They meet consumer demands, and nobody is forced to buy or eat what they produce.

It's all about choices. We all make them. But now I'm hungry for a Kit Bat bar and Ice Cream.

This is a little out of date but interesting to see. Kraft also used to be part of the same company as Philip Morris (tobacco). They split in 2007 but it's still interesting (to me, at least).

Not all Kashi products are designed for weight loss. Some, such as the Go Lean products, are geared for weight loss/management, but most are simply designed to be healthier grain options.

Substituting equal amounts of the Kashi 7 grain pilaf for white rice will not lower your calorie content. But you will get a lot more fiber and nutrition.
