Hey all!
I'm a 25yo guy from Italy. I joined yesterday and I'm already in love with this site

I've lost 7kg (15lbs) since mid March, when I stopped making excuses and finally took responsibility for my own health. I've been doing a lot of cardio (treadmill and stationary bike) and stopped overindulging in hypercaloric foods, and already I feel much better. Back in high school I used to hold several records (high jump, 200m dash, was on the volleyball and handball team) and I want to get back to that level of fitness.
I want to lose 3-4kg more, but the main reason I joined is that I want to make sure I have a balanced diet and exercise consistently. After I reach my weight goal, I want to start training to build up some muscle. I know next to nothing on good diet and strenght training, though
. For instance, can I lose weight and gain muscle at the same time?
