Does anyone have a Garmin HRM?

I have a quick question, and maybe my googling skills are lacking, but didn't find the answer.

I have a garmin FR70 (not sure if it matters). But here's where I have an issue. I can't figure out how to start a completely new workout without syncing in between.

Example:

Sunday - worked out. Didn't sync it to my computer. Monday - worked out, forgot about syncing it prior, so I had to use the lap feature so that I could better gauge my workout because when I hit the mode button and start, it started me at my workout from the day before.

Am I missing something totally obvious? I can't remember this issue with my polar, but haven't figured out how with this garmin...

thanks :)

I've got the Garmin Forerunner 405CX, so I'm not sure if it works the same as yours, but I'd just reset after the first workout and start the second (and third, and fourth, etc.). When I next sync, all of the workouts would be there, logged separately.

    Hope that helps!

Where do you reset? I don't notice that option under mode.. Do I hold down a button?

On mine, if you hold down the lap/reset button, a countdown timer comes up saying "reset in 3-2-1" (counting down). I just keep holding it until the timer counts down and it's reset!

I noticed that the burn shows way more ever than my Polar did, but this one never flakes on me like the polar did. So, so far, happy!
