Problems accurately tracking calories burned

I walk onto campus from where I live. I usually walk at about 2.5 or 3 mph, but it's uphill the whole way and myfitnesspal doesn't track that. I also bike onto campus sometimes. This ride is also uphill with an additional 15 lbs in my backpack. Of course, myfitnesspal tracks the time walked and the time biked, but not the uphill part or the added weight. These are things that I'm sure are changing my calories burned.
How can I more accurately track this kind of thing? Any suggestions?
