Total Gym

I just bought a total gym and am trying to figure out how to log it on this site.
How are you logging it?
Each separately in strength?
Cardio entry?

Thanks -- I am a newbie :)

If you're doing multiple exercises and getting your heart rate up, circuit training is probably the closest.

I heard if you enter Chuck Norris in the cardio database it should give you a burn. It will also give you a sweet beard. That's how I got mine.

    total waste.

Gotta humbly disagree... granted, I didn't use the total gym as prescribed... but i used it to assist when I started the P90X... couldn't do a real pull up to save my life (which was devastating, since as a kid, I could do them all day)... so I'd crank it up to 60% bodyweight and pump out the pull ups... by my second turn with P90x, I was prepared to hit the pull up bar full on... so I'd have to say, you get out of it what you put into it... and, hell... it's Chuck Norris approved! How can it not be flat out awesome?

    total waste.

Then I suggest you try the exercise that simulates paddling a surfboard and tell me it's a "total waste" the next day.

Eta: we have one at home and before my husband had the time to dedicate to a gym membership he did a 20 minute workout every morning iand guess what? He slimmed down and *gasp* sweated doing it! And btw he is far from obese and was also power walking a few days a week as well. Don't kock something you have't tried. I have used it and have been sore the next day and I am a regular gym goer who lifts very heavy.

I just logged my 1st TG workout. I created an exercise and called it cardio although it's more strength (I just like when it posts to my feed!). Truthfully I wasn't concerned about the calories part so I think I gave it a 2.5cal/min rate which was totally random, an HRM would be your best bet if you have one.
