What I would do is hold on to them, but take each clothes size and pack it away in a box and mark that size on it. When you start to lose the weight and the clothes that fit you right now start to get really loose on you then pull the next size out and try it on. If they fit then change out the clothes that are in your closet and donate the ones you took out of your closet.

definitely keep the ones that are too small, but as you shrink out of the bigger ones donate them!

OMG I get rid of them as soon as they don't fit anymore. 'Course, I don't spend a ton of money on clothes because I'm a thrift-store-aholic, so it's easy to let them go.

A suggestion: if and when you're ready to let them go, consign the brand names/designer labels and make a little $$.

If you love something that's too small for you and hope to fit it again, keep it. Once it's too big, toss it.

I always keep one thought in my head for my smaller clothes.

Is it still going to be in style when I am able to fit back into it? If yes, keep it. If no, get rid of it.

That's what I did. I'm wearing clothes now that haven't fit me in years, so it was nice to have clothes waiting for me without having to go buy new ones (for now). I just moved so I went through and tried on every shirt and gave away whatever was too big. Not having bigger clothes that I can fit into if I gain weight is a good incentive to keep it off.
