I exercise after midnight, do I put it into the next day?

I work nights, so I finish at 10-11pm usually, get home and then go to the gym from there.
By the time I get home it's usually between 12:30/1am, I have a protein shake, shower then I'm usually in bed by about 2:30-3am.
I log the protein shake and exercise into the next day, just wanted to make sure that would still be fine. I understand that it's all calories in, calories out, but is it fine to move it to the next day?
Or should I start logging it into the previous day instead?

I work nights as well and I log everything from the time I wake up (1pm) to the time I go to bed (7a). The new day starts at 1pm.0

I am a late night person, too. I count everything as one day BEFORE I go to sleep. So, if Monday I wake up and eat breakfast (doesn't matter what time), have lunch, dinner, snacks, work out, and have a small snack after working out, even if it is after midnight, I put it as Monday. Then, after I sleep. everything after that is a new day0

However you choose to log those calories, just do it conisistently the same way, I think that is the most important.0

I usually log my day from wake to sleep, regardless of the calendar day.0

I put everything from the time I wake up to when I go to bed. That's my day, even though I go to bed at 5 am.:happy:0
