Anyone have any experience with having tiny ants inside your electronic devices??

Since we moved in in October, we've kept finding different kinds of ants here and there. Called for Pest Control to come out and wouldn't see any for awhile... well the last few months we've had these really tiny ones (google search has told me they are raspberry ants) they will be inside the TV while we are watching it, sometimes my laptop screen and this morning I almost threw out everything when I went to scan something and through the clear glass I saw dozens and dozens in a frenzy all over inside my printer.

I am BEYOND grossed out and itchy all over. Like, about ready to move.

But, before I do anything rash like throw away all our stuff and break a lease.... I thought I/d ask if anyone else has any experience with them and successfully got rid of them.

I seriously just can't do this, I won't be able to sleep and can't even sit still thinking about it.

I recently saw a whole bunch of youtube videos of scanners that ants had built nests in-- super freaky! I don't know how you would discourage them from going inside your electronics, but whenever I find any ants in my apartment I trace them back to their point of entry (usually cracks around the window). Then I use talcum powder and cayenne pepper to make a line across where they are coming in. They won't crawl through the stuff, and eventually they retreat. If you have a big infestation, this probably wont work (you would have to cover your whole house in powder!), but for a small problem it is a cheap and safe alternative to hiring someone to spray potentially toxic stuff where you (and possibly pets and kids) are living. Good luck!
