Feel like I'm on a roller coaster

There are days I feel strong and have the greatest confidence in myself and then there are days that I feel weak and I can't make the right, healthy decisions. I really dislike these up and down feelings.

Anyone else ever feel this way? How can I change my outlook?

Any tips/support is appreciated.

I feel that everyone feels that way. Its human nature and yes even if you have a "perfect" figure it still doesn't matter you will find a flaw in it and complain about it and say you look ugly or are not happy with yourself. I am the same way sometimes. You are not alone :_)

I feel the same way. I do really well when I wake up and see the weight has come off on the scale. But, then I'll have a day where I'll gain for no apparent reason and I suddenly get depressed and want to eat everything in sight which just makes it worse.

For the last 3 days I have gained weight each morning when I weigh in regardless of the fact that I've stayed within my allowed calories and worked out on top of that. It just makes me feel like I should just keep eating and give up.

But...we will not give up!! Keep up the good work and just remember that we all have bad days. When I do, I tend to let myself have a taste but that's it. I actually washed perfectly good food down the sink today just to stop myself from snacking on it but I'm sure I'll be happy that I did tomorrow (fingers crossed). I know how you feel and I think we all have those days. We just have to learn the best way for us to get past it. When you go toward the fridge for food, detour and take a walk or chug a glass of water and wait 15 min and see if you still even want that food. Or pick up fruit instead of the junk food and leave the kitchen.

Hey I'm sure more people than u know feel that way. I feel like that all the time. But that's why u need people to support u. At home, at work and when ur alone. I joined mfp for assistance on something I set my mind to. Thanks to mfp I have made several mfp friends and everyone is so supporting. Feel free to add me, as I may be supportive and helpful in any way I can. Good luck!

Thanks everyone....It's nice to know I'm not the only one that feels this way. Makes me feel more normal :)
