Restarting after getting hungry

I started the p90x program about a month ago. I was doing pretty good and lost about 12 pounds. I started feeling hungry and started slacking on the exercise and and put 3 or 4 of those pounds back on. I started over again yesturday and this time im going to try to stick to it. I want to eat better but i dont want to be hungry. I also need to eat foods that will be healthy, filling and still leave me with enough energy to get through the day and the workouts. I also need some friends who can help me stay on track. I really want to stick to this because i need to lose about 20 to 25 pounds. Any help from anyone would be great.

    I think the main thing is to eat throughout the whole day. If you only eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, you are going to be hungry. Make sure you snack on something in between. Maybe cucumber, yoghurt or fruit?
