My BMR is 1,697 and I am also breastfeeding. So I should eat at LEAST 2,197 (added 500 for nursing 5x per day) every day? I also workout hard for 45 minutes 4/5 times per week and I need to eat back 100% of those to keep cals consumed at 2197 minimum (even though mfp may set my calorie target number lower)?
Sorry if this had been asked a dozen times. I just don't want to eat too few calories as I have increased my exercise intensity, especially since I am breastfeeding. Baby's health is most important!!

I am exclusively breastfeeding my 2 month old. My BMR is 1600 so I eat 2100/day. When I exercise I eat back my calories lost since I'm not really trying to lose the last 5lbs right now. If you're trying to lose weight then I guess you wouldn't eat back the calories burned.0
