Sodium out overnight?

Say that yesterday I had a high sodium day of 4000. If I drank my 8 glass of water or more, would most of that be flushed out in 24 hours? Or does it take longer depending on metabolism to get that out? To see a difference on the scale and body.

It depends on your size, your metabolism, how much you are over by, and how well your body reacts to excess sodium. Some people seem to be able to drink 4-5 extra glasses of water and sweat or urinate out over a thousand extra milligrams a day, with some it takes a few days.
The most effective way is to give your body lots of water to dissolve and retain the sodium in, then reduce your intake of sodium for a couple of days so your body can use it up.0
