Can I please vent to you guys for a minute?
Remember my second date? Well its not going to happen...His car got flooded out so I was going to pick him up. Our plans were for 7:15...I hear from him at 7:05 (while I am in the car on my way to pick him up) tellling me he lost track of time because he was too busy taking pictures of the cars that were on the side of the road flooded, and some overturned, and posting them on facebook...guess he wasn't as excites to see me. Then he asks me if we can go out later..and to the later movie...ummmm/.....hello I WORK for a living and cant be out until 2am...
He is off this week...
Am I in the wrong for being upset or was that just completely disrespectful of my time?
I do like him but this just seems wrong to me??? Please tell me if I am crazy...0 -
I don't think you are crazy. Do you think that maybe he is just "overwhelmed" and drawn in by the storm and his car and all the drama, to realize that he is being kind of jerky right now? Maybe instead of going out later tonight, may try a different day, when everthing has calmed down? He wouldn't be able to give you the attention you deserve, and that he may want to give you, with all this other stuff going on anyway.0

Well..that explains a lot. lol...
I actually agreed to a later movie with him...and now he just called and cancelled completely. So, he must be gay. So, my question is...do I give him another chance?He told me that he wants to see me. You see last night, we had plans for 6:00 and he called and pushed it back to 7 becaus he was hanging at his buddy's house and he lost track of time...so this is the 2nd time in 2 days.
Can you all please give me some advice??

A storm like this happens at least once a year here so it is not something he hasn't seen before. The storm has since passed, the flooding ia dissipating, and he decided to hang with his buddies instead....
I would let it pass if it wasn'tt the first time he "lost track of time"..but now it just feels like blatant disrespect for my time and me. But, you may be right as well..who knows? He saays one thing but his actions are the complete opposite...Isn't the saying actions speak louder than words?0 -

I am an emotional eater and I sooooooooo wanted to go to McDonald's and eat crap...but I did this instead. Who says food has to be junk to comfort you? I think I made the right choice, didn' I? Anyone eelse want chicken fajitas?0 -
