Protein

I may be wrong, but from everything I have read when someone is actively training (strength training and cardio) normally you need to eat more protein.

Why does MyFitnessPal recommend only 63g of Protein where everywhere I read recommends much more? Should I just ignore the MFP recommendation, or is what I have reading incorrect?

I don't know why MFP is low, but most of us who are weight training at least either ignore it, or manually adjust the % rather than go on MFP base set up.

Don't depend on MFP to determine what your needs are, but instead follow the general rule of thumb, of getting in 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight.
