My weight has only become an issue for me over the last 5-7 years....
I want to loose 24lbs and then re-assess from there.

I do not have any friends that are wanting to loose weight right now, so I am hoping to find friends, support and encouragement here on the online community.

I have tried Herbal Magic before, and it did work wonders, however... now I am even heavier. =(

Sometimes the world of weight loss seems so big, so many different opinions and options and new things to try that I get discouraged because I do not know where to start.

Well despite all that, I have started today.

My goals everyday this week are to:
1. enter honestly what i eat into MFP
2. drink 8 glasses of water EACH DAY
3. do the elliptical for 20 minutes or play tennis 5 out of the 7 days.
4. eat 3 cups of veggies each day
5. to not visit a fast food restaurant
6. post some inspirational comments around my house!

What are some of your inspirational quotes or sayings that you like?

What do you do to manage cravings (I know this will be a stubble of mine)?
