Counting calories in food preparations

Just a quick question from a newbie: Do you add every ingredient, spice, flavoring, etc, when you try to figure you meals? How do you break it down in something you have prepared for a meal? For example, tonight we had a fab roasted chicken that included 2 cups of buttermilk that the chicken marinated in the last two days but was not used for cooking. It was drizzled with olive oil and I cooked zucchini in olive oil as well. When I figured my meal tonight, I added 1/4 cup of buttermilk and 3 Tablespoons of olive oil. That was probably more than I actually consumed but both were an estimated guess. Do you include items like sea salt, paprika, other spices? Thank in advance!

If you go to the tab food and then go to recipies you can enter in your ingredients of what your making and it will calculate the calories for you. Once you done this you can save it for future reference. It really helps for home prepared meals/deserts0
