I use baby carrots in snack ziplocks. 35 calories each and better on the sugar intake.

Just cut on everything else and keep the fruits.

Really the only fruit I do is berries in my smoothies or greek yogurt. I don't like the high sugar content. Cut up veggies in ziploc bags, portion sized nuts, cheese, eggs are my staples.

Don't bother measuring sugar. Just measure carbs. Eat some fruit.

Are you going over on your calories? Do you need (or want) to restrict your carbs?

If the answer to the above questions is no, and you're enjoying your fruit, I wouldn't worry about it. Having said that I typically will eat 5 servings of fruit daily but also like to munch on baby carrots.

^^^my favorite non-fruit snack since I don't eat gluten and try to eat a lot of veggies and proteins instead of gluten free crackers etc.

+1 on this. No need to cut down sugar unless you're ingesting the majority of your calories from it.

so do u think 50gram + is ok for sugar????
  • Don't judge fruits by just sugars. The fiber values in fruit make them valuable.
