Hi everyone, My name is Elvira (
yup, like the song)
I just joined and have been working on eating healthier with my husband.
I had a baby 8 1/2 months ago, she's sooooo cute!!!!!
I had a tough pregnancy so I was really sick and lost about 15 pounds at first. I ended up only gaining a total of 7 pounds from my original weight.
I'm by no means overweight an am actually at a healthy weight for my height. I'm 24, 5'9" and I weight 147 lbs or so. I am looking to get down to 140. The number is really not important to me.
My main goal is to eat healthy, have more energy, work on cardio and strength. We also made it a goal to run the Bix next year which is 7 miles.
I started a blog a few months ago and recently have been focusing on healthy recipes and talking about my fitness goals.
If anyone is in a similar boat as me friend me! And if you're interested in my blog just message me.
Right now I'm doing kickboxing, body weight exercises, and will be doing running as well. We go down to the high school and run steps there. The baby comes with us and we takes turns going up! It's kind of cute!
Oh I'm also focusing on drinking a lot more water. My goal is about 100 ounces a day .
I'm also breastfeeding so I added about 300 calories on top of my daily caloric intake!
