Question for fellow nurses!

Options
Hey guys! So, I have a question for other floor nurses. I'm in RN school and have two 8 hour clinicals in the week, then I work an 8 hour shift as an LPN the next day. I spend the majority of my time at my med cart, at the bedside doing treatments, or standing and charting on the computers, or walking around the floor while I get stuff organized/march in place. Do you factor this in as exercise? I just fiddled around with a daily burn tool and put in my time at work as 6 hours of standing or walking (since I spend almost all my time standing or walking until the end of my shift when I do my paper charting) and it said I burn 3k calories on a day I do moderate exercise for 30 minutes, some housework, then stand/walk at work for 6 hours. HOLY CRAP. So, how do you guys figure in being a busy bee at work?

I don't count being at work as losing calories because your body is used to it. Yes, you are very active at work but its not in addition to your regular activity level.
