Hi all, I need guidance and thank you in advance for any insight...
ive been at this for about 3 weeks now and I do cardio 30 min/day x 5days/week. I usually excercise in the morning well before I have had breakfast so how is the excercising burning calories that I haven't consumed yet......?? i'm so confused:embarassed: Also, I haven't altered my diet yet so am I beating a dead horse even though I never exceed my daily caloric goal? I intend to change my diet but with the massive amount of information on what to eat/not to eat it gets pretty confusing. I am currently 160 but when I started I was 157, so I am feeling a bit defeated already! PLEASE HELP and yes of course Add me, I need all the motivation I can get..Thanks AGain this is such a GREAT site!!! you guys rock!!!

I personally don't think that the body processes food that discretely. I think of this stuff over time. So in my mind, yes, today's exercise can help burn yesterday's calories, or at least, the long term stored fat.
I wouldn't worry too much about that part.0 -

^ This is good advice in my opinion.
Think long term. It doesn't matter whether or not you burn off your last meal and you don't really need to worry about that stuff.
Eat at a calorie deficit, get some exercise, get some rest, and let things work themselves out.0
